El día 2 de octubre ha fallecido Tom Petty, y deseo realizarle este sábado un sentido homenaje, al que para mi es uno de los músicos más importantes que he disfrutado y desde luego que haré un repaso a toda su discografía con los Heartbreakers, Traveling Wilburys, Mudcrutch y su carrera en solitario.
También sonarán gente afín como The Byrds, Roy Orbison, George Harrison, Bob Dylan, Jeff Lynne, Bruce Springsteen, Elvis Presley, etc...
La cita es este sábado 7 de octubre en el Macondo Rock and Roll Bar, a partir de las 23:00h, Metro la Latina.
Y como aperitivo dos temas, primero esta versión de los Byrds de 1985, que saliera en un disco de directo de ese año por Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers.
Y por otro lado ese End of the Line con los Traveling Wilburys de 1988.
